Lightweight, fast-drying, very breathable - a modern approach to the classic casquette. I had to stop wearing contact lenses and swap to prescription cycling specs so I appreciate having a peak to shield my glasses from raindrops and reduce 'over the top' light which causes internal reflections. Fits nicely - soft and comfortably snug without pinching - it won't blow off if you ride without a helmet. The peak length is just right when worn under a helmet : I can flip the it up if I'm riding flat on the drops or want a little extra ventilation on climbs, but it provides enough coverage when the dropped. An ideal cap for the warmest 4-5 months of the year, and the samurai inspired design looks great when the lid comes off in the cafe.

This cap is a nice accompaniment to my tenement jersey. It’s worked well at keeping sweat out of my eyes through the hottest of summers. It’s rarely dry when I take it off (I’m a sweater) but never gets so wet that it becomes uncomfortable. So it does wick. Not expensive either. All this and it looks good, even on me!
