Who do you make custom kit for?
Organisations of every kind: event organisers, charities and fundraising teams, companies, clubs and groups, including university and school clubs. Five riders or five thousand, the same team designs it and the same factories make it.
What do we need to prepare before asking for a quote?
Your logo (ideally a vector file: AI, EPS or SVG), your colours, any sponsor logos, the items you’re interested in, rough quantities and any date you’re working towards. If you’re not sure on numbers yet, leave them blank and tell us about your project.
How do I get a quote?
Use the quote form on our custom kit page. Pick your kit and quantities for a live price, upload your logo and ideas, and send it. The custom kit team will get back to you.

What can you make?
Cycling jerseys (Everyday and Advanced fits), bib shorts, gilets, tri suits, running vests and running tops, cycling caps, socks and neck warmers. Something else in mind? Ask us in your quote request.
What is the minimum order?
Five cycling jerseys, bib shorts, gilets or tri suits; ten running vests, running tops or caps; and twenty pairs of socks. Each item has its own minimum, so you can mix and match. Got a big job? We have customers who order thousands of items a year, so get in touch and we’ll talk pricing.
How much does custom kit cost?
Every item has a price ladder that drops as the order grows. An Everyday cycling jersey is £90 each at 5+, £79 at 10+ and £55 at 100+; an Advanced tri suit is £180 at 5+ and £100 at 100+; an Everyday running vest is £20 at 10+; socks are £20 a pair at 20+. The Kit facts above list every item. Prices include VAT. Your online estimate is indicative; the Custom team confirms your final quote.
Can each person have their name on their kit?
Personalisation, such as names, is an option on most of our tops, as a paid extra. Ask us about it in your quote request.
Is custom kit the same quality as your own range?
Yes. Custom kit uses the same garments we sell on stolengoat.com, in your design.
Design
How does the design process work?
Our designers take care of your design, whether you arrive with a clear idea or none at all. You’ll see concepts, ask for changes and sign it off only when it’s right. A logo is all you need to start.
What does design cost?
The design fee is £200 on orders under £500, £150 on orders from £500 to £1,000, and free on orders over £1,000.
Can I send my own sketches or an AI-generated design?
Yes, as inspiration. Upload sketches, logos and reference images with your quote request. AI-generated images rarely print well as they are, so our designers redraw your idea properly for the garment.
Can sponsors’ logos go on the kit?
Yes. We plan where every logo sits and how big. Sponsors usually go on the back, and we can mock up the layout so you can show sponsors before they sign.
Timing
How long does custom kit take?
A typical project takes 6–8 weeks from start to finish. It can be quicker, and in busy periods slower. The sooner you sign off the design and confirm the order, the sooner your kit is made, so if you have a fixed date, talk to us a few months ahead.
Can you do it faster?
If you have a fixed date, tell us in your first message and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible. Sometimes we can help.
Sizing, ordering and delivery
How do we get the sizing right?
Custom kit uses the same garments we sell on stolengoat.com, so if you know our sizing you’re set. If not, we can send a sizing kit to your group so everyone can try sizes on together and find what fits before you place your order.
How do people order their kit?
Three ways; the web shop and the order form are subject to project eligibility. One bulk order delivered to one address, the most cost-effective way to buy. A web shop on stolengoat.com, where each person orders their own size, pays and has their kit delivered to their own door. Or a bulk order form: one link to share, everyone picks their sizes and pays upfront, and you watch it fill up.
Can you deliver to people in different countries?
Yes. A web shop delivers to each person wherever they are, and we already make kit for groups with members on different continents.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes. Prices in our quote form are per item and include VAT.
After your order
Can we reorder later?
We can arrange a repeat order; minimums apply and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your project. If your project has a web shop, it can be reopened so new members can order when they join.
