A true-to-size race fit with a touch of give. Between sizes? Size up for a relaxed feel, down for race-day aero.

Great fit, keep your toes toasty in spring/ summer/ autumn conditions. Would be great to see a set of SG socks for 'deep winter' riding.

Wanted a thicker pair of socks for gravel biking and I can't resist the Hinterland design, very happy with these.

Bought to match the jersey of course! I wear size Large for 9-9.5 feet

Thicker than a normal coolmax road sock without being full-on thermal or merino winter weight. I've used mine for a mix of MTB, gravel, and Spring road riding without overshoes, and they're a firm favourite. The sizing guides are accurate - I'm a UK 12 and bought 'Large', even though I'm XL with other brands - I needn't have worried. The fit is spot-on without any toe-pinching or constriction. An all-day sock. Predominantly black colouring is always a good idea for MTB socks and after half a dozen cool washes they look as good as new.

I prefer thicker socks, I'd not found the right pair of socks for mountain biking or gravel riding. The cushioning on these is superb and they feel like you're wearing something which provide a bit of protection. If you're looking to match they go really well with the MTB jersey.

I have used these a few times for mountain biking and gravel biking. Perfect fit and comfortable
