I wasn’t a huge gilet person but was feeling the cold as I got a little older and thought I would try one. This is perfect, keeps the wind off but doesn’t feel bulky and folds up very small when needed. As always the SG steam were amazing when the order was a little messed up, probably the best customer service I have ever experienced!

Super versatile and packs small in my jersey. Great for those chilly mornings or long cool descents. Goes with me on every ride in spring and autumn. Hard wearing as well, it’s taken a fair beating since I’ve owned it and it’s still pretty much as new.

Looks great, a relatively tight fit in my usual medium but works well to avoid flapping about in the wind! The central pocket on the gilet and gaps to access jersey pockets at each side are really useful and it packs small. Never thought I needed a gilet, but is now a favourite.

Guaranteed to take the edge off those cooler rides, whilst easily fitting in a Jersey back pocket, whether that is because the sun came out, or you are hedging your bets on the weather changing a bit.

Really nice gilet. I bought it to match my jersey from last summers CtS. It is a slightly snugger fit than the jersey I think but it wont flap around or catch wind which is a problem with loose fitting gilets. It folds up really small for stowing in a jersey pocket .

Wearing it as a start-to-finish booster layer on freezing days, using it to take the chill out of the first hour, or putting it on for a long, fast descent or an unscheduled roadside stop. It blocks the wind and dampness at the front but avoids excessive clamminess thanks to the breathability of the back. Nice high collar with comfortable material, good quality zip too. It packs into its own little pouch which can be stuffed into a jersey pocket or into a bike bag. There's some stretch in the overall fit but if in doubt I'd say size up compared to a jersey. I'm 1.91m, 96 kg and XXL in SG Bodyline but need XXXL in a gilet if I'm wearing it over a jersey loaded for a long ride In winter gloves I haven't got the hang of using jersey pockets through the rear access points, but it's a doddle when wearing track mitts. Good visibility with the colour transitions of the Ya-Ya Fire design. Overall it's become an essential piece of kit.

Bought to match my Milo jersey, but this will go well with any dark jersey in my opinion! The thought that has gone into these gilets is obvious and amazing however they are a fairly tight fit in comparison to jerseys of the same size so great if you want a race fit but maybe go up a size if you want a looser fitting gilet. These pack into jersey pockets incredibly well and have plenty of windproofing AND ventilation, wrap your head around that!

Doesn't just match well with the YaYa jersey but also the Java Fire jersey too! I have found the gilets to be a much closer fitting garment than the jerseys but the design is really great. They truly do packaway well and the little details like jersey pocket access is genius!

Love the colour way of this gilet and matching Orkaan jersey. Lightweight, folds small to fit in a jersey pocket. Material has a little stretch but is close fitting so measure yourself carefully and size up if at the top end of a size.

The bodyline gilet is a nice addition to spring and summer kit that offers protection from early morning windchill. They are a snug fit if you go by your measurements. I think this is by design. I went by my measurements and the close fit seems to work. Once the sun comes out it rolls up small for your back pocket. A simple piece of kit that works really well.

This is a great gilet. I compared this to other gilets at the same price point and chose this one because it had a pocket, and openings to reach through to jersey pockets. Features missing from other makers’ gilets. It is small enough to pack into a jersey pocket, and light enough not to notice. It adds an extra layer which I have found helps keeps warmth in and wind out. It’s something I often wear spring and autumn, and even on some early summer mornings before it has warmed up. A great piece of kit, really glad I bought it.
