Well Happy Birthday to us!!! Stolen Goat has now officially completed its first year of business. This means that our first goal of surviving year 1 has been well and truly accomplished!
I would love to say “it’s been a tough year but we’ve come through it stronger than before”, but the reality it’s been an absolute blast and I’m loving every moment of it.
When we started out last year I had no idea how well the business would do, we had just a few products to sell and we lived and died by every small decision. Starting out is challenging that’s for sure. We aren’t out the woods yet but there is certainly a path ahead of us and I can’t wait to be at the stage where we are employing new people.
Highlights for me have to be interacting with customers, I enjoy making people happy and it feels good when people dig what you are doing. Meeting folk at Orbital Festival was an absolute pleasure so I certainly plan to take Stolen Goat out on the road more this year and exhibit at more shows.
I also had no idea of how much people would enjoy the brand. I knew that I loved it but that’s no guarantee that others would like it too. Getting great reviews from people who have specifically bought Stolen Goat jerseys and bags and t-shirts has to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, not including having kids (my wife might be reading).
So thanks to all our customers, fans, supporters, friends and family. It has been a wonderful first year and I’m very excited to see what the next year brings.
