- Measure the widest part of your waist and then measure the widest part of your hips. The measurement used to determine your size should be whichever is the widest out of these two measurements.

The fit around the legs and waist is great. The pad is great for long hours on the saddle. I like the looks of it. However, the straps are either too stiff, or too short. I followed the Size Guide (84cm waist) and picked a Medium. I'm 185cm tall and, in riding position, the straps pull at my shoulders.

Almost a perfect pair of bib shorts. Brilliant fit on the legs, love the compressive fit and how they hug my leg muscles regardless of what my legs are doing. Nice and airy in the back so I don't over heat, plenty of stretch in the straps without any bagging. Easy to stretch the front down for a wilderness wee. Great shape and comfortable pad, no issues personally on 100+ mile rides. Go through the wash well and have kept their shape, fit and quality. My only gripe is they are black. Would love to see them in other colours.

I bought these as a replacement for a pair I've had since 2017. These are my favourite bib shorts, full stop. They go nicely with nearly every jersey, always a good fit and paired with a epic jersey they save watts.

These Epic shorts are epic! A bit more compressive in the same size as the Ibex shorts and are more suitable to cycling with a decent saddle to bar drop. There is a radio pocket which doubles up as extra storage for us amateurs. The blue bibs really suit some of my jerseys better than the black bibs. I prefer these to the Ibex for fast rides and I like the Ibex for long days out at club pace or easy training rides.

Love my race team kit shorts, I like the white bib straps for starter and it looks more subtle under lighter jerseys. I really like the fit and the feel of the epic kit overall, feels aero and fast without making me feel like I'm crammed into something too small or tight.

Excellent quality, comfortable chamois, but one star deducted because they are rather short in the body. Also, the straps are not as stretchy as other bib models, and more "scratchy" (other models have softer, more stretchy straps). I'm not particularly tall (5ft7in), so it's not a "wrong size" issue. On short rides, I don't notice these issues much, but anything over an hour and it starts to become a bit annoying.

I love the leg fit of Epic bibshorts, no flapping or bunching and nice and compressive. I love the way they stretch over my thighs. Great pad and stretchy straps, size for your legs not your body. I'm not a massive fan of black cycle clothing though I do have quite a bit so these are a nice change. A must to finish off the team kit look (love the design of the race team kit, and wanted a set from the moment I 1st saw it) I may have been unlucky but I picked up some damage/bobbling of the leg fabric on my 1st ride, no idea how though. It's not something I've seen or experienced with the black Epics.

Lovely feeling shorts, nice compressive feel. I really like that the bib bits are white and thus are more discreet than the black ones under lighter jerseys. I like the nice little touch of the radio pocket on the back. Epics are my go to bib shorts.
