The SS Ride Day The 13th jersey was specifically designed in collaboration with the Heavy Metal Truants, who were co-founded by ex-Metal Hammer magazine editor Alexander Milas and Iron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood in 2013.

Since then artists, musicians, industry types and fans of every background have assembled on cycling’s level playing field for a ride from London to Castle Donington and Download Festival as well as a variety of virtual challenges inspired by that legendary ride.
