Introducing the first ever Stolen Goat designed Musettes. Created in collaboration with Scottish based, Tweed bag specialist Katherine Emtage, these musettes have undergone several rounds of prototyping to get the final product just right.
We wanted to create a musette that was compact but big enough to hold an iPad or even an 11-inch MacBook Air. It had to be Harris Tweed, but we still wanted the inside to be water resistant so we lined it with lightweight waterproof PU Nylon which is very water resistant indeed.
This is a premium musette so we gave the main compartment magnetic clasps to making opening and closing not only easy (even one handed) but also a wonderful, tactile experience. We also thought that an extra pocket on the outside, with a zip, would be mighty useful to put valuables such as phone and keys in. The zipped pocket is also lined with waterproof PU Nylon.
A strap that is 2-inches wide has been used to create comfort as well as keeping the musette in place a bit more reliably. Each musette contains a lightweight stiffener hidden inside the lining to ensure the bag holds its shape whatever you carry.
This is a Stolen Goat Musette, so of course – we had to stitch our legendary logo right on the front of the bag. Each musette also features the Harris Tweed certification label stitched onto the rear.
At 12.5 inches x 10 inches these musettes are small but mighty, and plenty big enough to carry a fair few gadgets, notebooks, or whatever you need for the day. Available in 3 beautiful colours – Forest Green, River Blue and Rolling Moss. Which one will you choose?
