Wondering which Stolen Goat cycling kit range is the best one for you?
Whether you’re a casual cafe cruiser or an audax adventurer. A mid-week commuter or a bikepacking explorer. We’re all about helping you to Adventure More, however you like to find your freedom. Which means we have a few different options when it comes to the fit and intended riding conditions.
Keep reading to learn more about our different ranges so you can discover the Stolen Goat cycling gear that’s right for you.
Fit: Advanced vs Every Day
First up, let’s talk fit. We know that some cyclists are all about the aero gains. Meanwhile others would rather prioritise comfort. The good news is, we’ve got an option for everyone!
Every Day
Our Every Day ranges are… well, for your every day rides! The Stolen Goat Every Day cycling jerseys and jackets are still close-fitting enough that you won’t have to worry about them flapping about in the wind. But they come with a slightly more relaxed fit, perfect for long days in the saddle or layering up.
If you’d prefer a closer fit, you can size down in our Every Day range.
Advanced
The Stolen Goat Advanced range offers more of a race fit, and the Advanced cycling jerseys and jackets often also come with a few extra features to prioritise aerodynamics and performance.
But you know us, we’re firm believers that high performance doesn’t have to come at the cost of comfort. So while our Advanced ranges are designed to be close-fitting, we also make sure they’re locked and loaded with four-way stretch and constructed from premium fabrics so they’ll never feel uncomfortably restrictive.
If there’s a design you love in the Advanced range, but you’d prefer a little more wiggle room – we’d suggest sizing up.
Intended weather conditions: Alpine, Kalahari and Ibex explained
Once you know which of our fits you prefer, it’s time to think about what weather conditions you plan to ride in. We have a few different options designed for different temperatures.
Ibex: Suitable for mild spring, summer and early autumn rides
Ibex is our cycling wardrobe staple. Lightweight and breathable, it’s designed to keep you comfortable when you’re riding in mild to warm conditions. Our Ibex cycling jerseys are also handy for layering up when conditions are a little cooler.
Kalahari: Hot weather cycling gear
Kalahari (named after the desert-dwelling goat) is our hot weather-specific range of cycling jerseys. These are ultra-lightweight, designed for maximum cooling when you’re riding in the height of summer.
Alpine: Winter cycling gear
As you might guess from the name, the Alpine range is designed to keep you warm and dry during your winter rides. Think cosy fleece linings, windproof and water-resistant/waterproof fabrics to keep the elements at bay!

Thermal cycling jerseys
You might also spy some of our long sleeved thermal cycling jerseys on the site. These are our secret weapon for weird, in-between weather – perfect for early spring and the autumn months. They offer that extra bit of protection compared to our Ibex ranges to keep you cosy, but they’re not quite as hardcore as our Alpine gear so you won’t overheat.
