According to Roman history, on February 15th, young men would run around wearing only the skins of goats they sacrificed earlier and hit women with strips of goat skin, known as februa, to promote fertility. It is from these purification instruments that the month of February gets its name. – My aunt Jan invented another month name apparently.

Lightweight but warm

Perfect – wore them on a day I wasn’t sure I needed them and didn’t ‘notice’ them at all! Gear you don’t notice means it’s doing it’s job!

perfect for winter rides, very comfortable

Brilliant for those cooler rides and being black can go with virtually any short sleeve jersey. Not a bad option to go under a C&C jacket on really cold days to give you that extra layer of insulation.
Not as stretchy as the bodyline arm warmers, so may need to size up, but, as ever with SG, exceptionally comfy.

Best arm warmers ever especially being black they go with any short sleeve jersey. Peel them off mid ride if you get hot=simple. You actually don’t realize you have them on, so that’s kind of cool.

Definitely the warmest and best arm warmers that I own. Splashes and light rain bead off the material. I like the subdued graphics on the Kuro’s, they are easy to match with any jersey. Another great feature is that even when wet with water or sweat they will still keep you warm on the bike (as long as you are still working hard enough).

Versatile arm warmers that are warm & showe proof. Fold up small enough to fit in a jersey pocket

These arm warmers are long and really grippy! Sizing is closer to the Ibex/Bodyline long sleeve jerseys than the Kiko/thermals so nice and snug!

Love the feel and fit of these arm warmers. They go with everything. They keep me toasty warm, wash and wear really well.
