Stolen Goat Men’s Orkaan Weather-Resistant Bib Shorts // Cooler Weather – Comfort Fit //
The early spring morning rides. Those end of summer adventures when the tell-tale chill of autumn starts freshening up the breeze and crisping up the leaves. When you want a little bit of extra warmth and protection, but full tights would have you feeling a touch too hot under the collar (or should that be chamois pad?) our Orkaan bib shorts are the ideal choice.
Our Orkaan bibs are made from high-performing Tempest fabric. It protects you against the wind and rain, while remaining comfortable and breathable. A super soft Roubaix lining keeps you feeling cosy, and the integrated back acts like a base layer for extra protection.
Keeping the wind and rain at bay is great – but nothing spoils a ride like an uncomfortable undercarriage. We’ve got you covered with our proprietary chamois pad, developed in Belgium alongside top-level pro riders. Not only is it breathable, antibacterial and the perfect density for long rides. It’s also located in the perfect position to give you support where you need it, so you can focus on the road ahead.

Absolutely my go-to pair of shorts for those colder or more changeable days. Excellent fit and a very comfortable pad means you can enjoy the ride and not worry in the least about the conditions. Add in an Orkaan jersey and legwarmers, you’ll be able to ride into autumn and winter with an air of casual superiority.

I wore these for RideLondon, the night before it had rained and the roads were soaking wet. These kept me warm and happy in changeable conditions.

My go to bibs for ultra cycling, commuting and any ride where the weather looks changeable,
Paired with a thinner body line jersey you can get away with much warmer temps than the guide states. Used these for gbduro to good effect!

The best bibs in cold and wet conditions. Love them.

Very nice pad and a very good fit. Paired with the leg warmers they are super for all spring and autumn rides.

These have become a winter essential for me. Never one to go ‘full bib-tights’ , I match these with the SG leg warmers to keep out the elements. Laundry challenges have meant that I’ve occasionally worn these in warmer temperatures, and it hasn’t been an issue. Since these are not designed to be lightweight, there are no compromises made for comfort. They are extremely comfortable.

I wear them as soon as it gets a bit wet outside and the temperature drops a little. They’ve been great for avoiding a soggy bottom! The pad is very comfy and the material feels great. I find the fit a little odd, but I seem to have this issue with all cycling kit. They’re fine when I get on the bike and start my ride, but when I first put them on I find they pull down on my shoulders. I’m not sure if a larger size would remedy this, but I tend to buy medium t-shirts and have the bib-shorts in XL! I still think they warrant 4 stars despite this.

I am a sticker for these on cool mornings there are so comfortable. I throw on Orkaan Leg Warmers if its coolish and take them off mid ride at the coffee stop. Actually I do wear them in Aussie winter with Orkaan Leg Warmers instead of the full bib for something different also. This is a more trendy look than a full bib. Try it…you will love it.

I love my Orkaan shirts so I thought it would be worth trying the bibs as well. They are made nicely, fit fantastically well and are true to size. I am 6’7” and the straps are just about long enough.
A bit warmer than normal shorts for cooler days and nights and the water resistance is an added bonus.
Not 100% convinced by the pad, but it’s growing on me. The first couple of rides I didn’t get on well with it but I persevered and the last few have been much better.
Good quality kit as per usual of the Goat.

My go to bibs for foul weather. Lovely and warm, comfortable and protects admirably from road spray.

My new favourite bib shorts – better than any others I’ve owned. Comfortable fit, great material and performance is excellent. Added bonus is that I got them on offer, but would still be a steal at full price!

My second pair of Orkaan bibshorts and they’re proving to be ideal for early Spring in the Pennines. Starting a long ride at 4 C with Kiko kneewarmers, unsure whether to trust the weather forecast and its promises of ’12 C by midday’ – all bases are covered.
The material is warm, supportive, and shrugs off light showers, keeping my kidneys, hips and quads cosy on descents or with colder than expected April winds.
I’ve also used them indoors and they’ve coped superbly with higher temperatures and sweat volumes.
Good leg-grippers, and the braces don’t roll or dig into my collarbones.
The pad is slightly different to that used in the Orkaan 3/4 tights ( which has a slight central channel ) but after a couple of 200km outings I’m perfectly happy with the orange chamois.
They’re cool-washing nicely and free of marks or saddle abrasion.
I can see these being regulars until the arrival of ‘high Summer’

My first non warm weather bibs and a revelation from previous years using normal bibs over winter. Paired with leg warmers they have kept me nice and toasty. Also used on cooler wet summer days. Wish there was a cargo version. Found the pad very comfortable.
