The stolen goat Men's EPIC bib shorts feature a men's specific vapour pad that has been developed alongside top level pro riders. After extensive testing, the pad created is the perfect shape for maximum support on fast, hard rides but crucially is located in the perfect position. Also the sculpted form of the entire short provides extra support in the riding position. This means you can race hard and far without noticing your shorts.
The pad consists of multiple layers to improve airflow, breathability, damping and friction reduction. This combined with being anti-bacterial and fast drying ensures that hygiene and comfort are as advanced as possible ensuring you can focus on your performance.
The bib shorts offer graduated muscle support by varying the tightness. A compressive feel throughout and feature seamless integration of grippers to keep the shorts in place all day long. No nasty silicone gripper to pull at your skin is used here.
The pad materials consist of a friction reducing, breathable top layer. 2 middle layers provide breathability and moisture transport. The main layer is where the magic happens. We use Evapore, which is a 3D webbing with better damping qualities. When put under stress, Evapore changes into a rubberized state, so even when it’s compressed to the maximum, it still provides damping. Moreover, this material is hydrophobic, meaning it transports perspiration. The pad remains dry at all times.
- Vapour Pad - Developed in Belgium alongside top level pro riders and teams to create the perfect race pad and positioning on the bike.
- Premium Fit - The stolen goat EPIC shorts are compressive in feel, very much a race fit but a comfortable one at that. The legs are held in place with a premium grade elasticated panel rather than use silicone gripper band which can pull on the skin and has a tendency to ride up the leg.
- Premium Fabric - Not all bib shorts are created equal. The lycra used here is 2-way breathable and 4-way stretch. This ensures the fabric moves and breathes with your body. No unnecessary overheating, plus maximum comfort create a sensational ride experience.
ABOUT THE SIZING
The fabric in the shorts and straps is extremely stretchy meaning that the height of the rider is less of a concern. The crucial measurement here is around the waist, just above the hip for men, and level with the top of the hip for women.
