happy new year from stolen goat 2020

Welcome to 2020, goats! We wish you and your families the best for this year and on!

So, we’re 13 days into the New Year… what have you planned for 2020? Have you decided to join crit racing, or change your training or dietary plans, or take up triathlon, maybe you just enjoy cycling with mates and have booked a trip(s) abroad…. or maybe you haven’t planned anything yet… and that’s ok but it’s good to set goals and have plans.

Here at Stolen Goat, we are all about Freedom! Freedom is such an important and sometimes overlooked thing. Everyone’s idea of freedom is different, yours could be going out on a Sunday club ride, another’s could be racing and another’s could be collecting Stolen Goat cycle jerseys… everyone has a different freedom and it might not be to do with road cycling, it could be in other cycling genres or sports and activities. We recognise this and the future will see us launch some NEW and completely different products to help you find your freedom. Make sure you follow our socials closely (Instagram & Facebook) and are subscribed to our newsletter for sneak peeks, early releases and news.

To inspire you even more, below is a list of plans/ goals that the SG Team individually want to achieve this year and if you’re still looking for ideas then why not at least join us on The Stolen Goat Weekender in Mallorca from the 26th-30th March 2020. Hosted by Mallorca Cycling we want to ride with you and create amazing experiences and memories. For more info click here.

SG Staff Goals/Plans 2020

Abby: Getting off-road…Re-kindling my love for trail running, and learning that there’s a lot of places to explore on the bike if you just leave the road!

Tim: Honestly, I’m just enjoying riding my bike right now, so I’m reluctant to put too much focus on specific targets. My overall goal for 2020 is just to keep active and keep enjoying life. If I had to pick one goal though it would be to beat my PB on the local 10 mile TT.

Trevor: To get my little one skateboarding with me, which means that I’ll have to clamber back on too.

Rob: To beat my 2019 mileage and catch up with the SG ambassadors for as many cycle adventures as I can.

Andy: To complete the Transatlantic Way in June and commute by bike as much as possible.

Jim: For 2020 my aim is to compete in National Enduro and Downhill MTB events as well as climbing the highest mountain in Ireland called Carrauntoohil followed by Everest Base Camp and Island Peak.

Have a great year, goats and remember to tag us (#stolengoat) so we can see what you get up to.
