Cime de la Bonette
Peaking at 2,802 metres, the Cime de la Bonette is the highest paved road through the Alps and is the highest point reached in Le Tour de France. The gradient reaches 15% in places and has an average gradient of 6.4% over its 26km long climb! A real eye-popper.
Cime de la Bonette featured in the 1962, 1964, 1993 and 2008 Tour de France. In 1993 our very own Robert Millar was leading at the summit. Chapeau!
Cycling Art Prints come in all shapes and sizes. They come with a differing number of colours, typically a hand printed screen print will have 1 to 3 colours. This cycling masterpiece from rising star Eliza Southwood features 6 colours, all pulled by hand and illustrates the harrowing climb up the Cime de la Bonette which regularly features in Le Tour de France.
Stolen Goat have championed Eliza Southwood from our very conception in 2012 with her wonderful Tactics print. As such she has graciously given us the exclusive rights to sell this edition of this limited run of 15 signed and numbered works of art.
